Ron Dickinson is a Financial Planner and CPA with over twenty years of experience serving the tax, financial planning and investment needs of hundreds of clients. His goal is to help each client achieve a well-balanced, successful retirement. Ron holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Hastings College and a Masters Degree in Taxation from the University of Texas. Before starting the CPA firm over twenty years ago, he worked for the international accounting firm of Touche Ross & Co. He is a member of the American and Nebraska Societies of CPAs. Ron is actively involved as an Elder and in the Finance Ministry at First Christian Church.
Francis Clark is the Firm’s senior tax practitioner and is a shareholder in the firm. He is a CPA and a native of the Council Bluffs area. Francis works with individuals and business owners on tax, accounting and management issues.
Francis has broad experience in Farm, Limited Liability Company, Corporate, and Partnership tax issues. He also advises on Estate and Trust issues. Francis has over three decades of experience in the field of public accounting.
Francis has a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Creighton University. He also has served, and currently serves, on numerous not-for-profit boards. He is a member of the American and Iowa Societies of CPAs.
Tom Umphreys is the managing shareholder of the Firm. He is a CPA, and is also a native of the Council Bluffs area. Tom has been with Dickinson & Clark since 2002, and has over sixteen years of combined experience in corporate and public accounting. Tom spent seven years working for national companies in accounting, financial reporting, and federal compliance filings. He also performed due diligence on potential corporate acquisitions, and integrated newly acquired companies into corporate consolidated financial reporting. In addition to his corporate experience, Tom has over nine years of experience in public accounting.
Tom works primarily with small to medium-sized businesses and their owners providing accounting and income tax services. He also heads up the Firm’s CFO consulting services division.
Tom holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of Nebraska in Omaha, and an Associate in Arts Degree from Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs. He is a member of the American and Iowa Societies of CPAs. Tom is actively involved as an Elder at First Christian Church.

On January 1, 2005 Thomas Umphreys joined the Firm as a shareholder.
